Seasonclosing in Mont Sainte-Anne
The first weekend of october marked the final dance of the 2024 UCI World Cup for the Ghost Factory Racing Team. Read all about it in the following article.
The final racing weekend
Everything began in Mairipora, Brasil in April - 6 months and 9 world cups later the Ghost Factory Racing Team is looking forward to their well deserved off-season! But first, one final racing weekend needs to be tackled. Mont Sainte-Anne celebrated their 32nd time hosting the season closing of the UCI World Cup Season. Since 1998 the well renowned location has welcomed the topstars of the crosscountry-scene with beautiful forests, technical decsents and thousands of fans. Definitely a special place to be, especially in the early autumn, when leaves turn brown and the air is crispy.

Nicole Koller was able to celebrate a Top 10 finish as she crossed the finish line in 9th position. Anne Terpstra who had to tackle a cold after the last World Cup in Lake Placid finished as 14th. XCO
The XCO was placed on sunday, 6th of October. At the end of the season it isn't always easy to stay focused and manage to remain in a race mode throughout the competition. This was true for Finja in her final race for the 2024 season. Regardless of her focus during the race, she finished as 19th. Nicole crossed the finish line of the Elite race as 15th. Anne secured a 22nd place while Caroline finished 24th and Isla on position 30.
