After months of training, Jeroen van Eck launched his season with a bang: he secured first place at the Coupe de France Eliminator race in Marseille, once again proving his world-class skills in XCE sprint racing.

The Coupe de France VTT is one of the most prestigious mountain bike racing series in France. It features multiple disciplines, including Cross-Country (XCO), Downhill (DHI), and Eliminator (XCE), attracting both national and international top riders.
The Eliminator format is all about explosive starts, precise cornering, and strategic racing – the perfect playground for Jeroen van Eck. This year’s race in Marseille kicked off the series with a brutal course in Luminy, featuring technical descents, steep climbs, and rapid turns that tested the riders to the limit.

The challenging course ran through the hilly terrain of Luminy, a southern district of Marseille known for its rocky trails, technical sections, and steep climbs.Rain, cold temperatures, and slippery terrain made this race a true challenge. What’s Next?
Jeroen moves forward with confidence into the next races. Up next is the UCI XCE World Cup in Tajikistan, where he will once again look to prove his dominance in the Eliminator discipline. Following that, he heads to WES Maritime in Monaco, where the best e-MTB riders will battle it out.
With this victory in Marseille, Jeroen has made one thing clear: he’s ready for a massive season!
